Hey Schmoeville!
It seemed like Marvel had a pretty great plan set earlier this week when they announced they would be releasing the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron during this upcoming episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D….. as we all know by now, things did not go according to plan. The trailer was leaked the following day after the announcement and then Marvel quickly released the official trailer in response to Hydra’s leak. So a lot of people thought that meant that there was then no reason to watch next week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. if you weren’t already a fan of the show, I mean the trailer’s already been released! No point, right?
Apparently, wrong.
Marvel announced today that during next week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. they will be showing some new, currently never-before-seen footage of the film during the episode titled, “A Fractured House.” The studio also announced that they would be showing even more footage from the film during the ABC broadcast of Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop? So if you’re looking for some new footage following that awesome trailer, then I would go ahead and set your DVR for next Tuesday, October 28th at 9:00pm ET on ABC, and then on Tuesday, November 4th at 9:00pm ET on ABC as well.
Smart move by Marvel because it still means they’ll get more viewers for Agents while also promoting their largest film to date. Let’s just hope for Marvel’s sake that some hacker doesn’t decide to leak this footage as well before it’s air dates because that would not be good for the company. I’m excited for the film as much as I think everyone else is and I cannot wait to see what Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige have planned for this one, something tells me it will be something memorable.
